This place has everything!

A couple weeks ago, Maddie saw a guy at the roller rink wearing a had with a big black mustache on it.  I don't know why, but she really was into that. She talked about finding a similar hat, but her thought that the mustache would be a lot better if it were pink, or even better: a rainbow.

Gotta love the internet.

I gave up trying to convince Maddie what to wear a while ago. It was about 16 F today as we went sledding on the way home from the store. She's got cotton leggings on there. Whatev's

Except for the shoes. I still encourage her to wear real boots. The only thing that makes sense to me about her ridiculous mall-walking shoes is the name: ugg. But she never complained about frozen toes. So I guess I'll have to shut up about those "boots" too. 

She bounced off at least three trees today. And she totally squared a righteous jump. And I missed the shot. I suck!

The streets have to be frozen just so for the kick sled to slide well.
The streets are nearly perfect. If we get a good deep freeze tonight, they'll be even better tomorrow. 

Maddie is doing a project for school. She decided to do stained glass. Our friend Christa, a super pro stained glasser, is teaching Maddie every Saturday morning. Here, she's practicing how to cut glass.
