Cross in CDA

Maddie and I went to CDA today and watched the final cyclocross race of the season.

We had a great time.

Chip and Dale.
They didn't go with us.

Note the frequent outfit changes.
Start with basic jacket.
That would be Maddie's 2nd hot choc.
A mere 16 oz'er.

Upgrade to the full-body snow one-sy for hard-core spectating.

Temp levels out at about 25 degrees.
Time to strip down to the tshirt and roast a few marshmallows.
Oh yeah - and down another hot chocolate.
(No. Liza wasn't there. If that's not obvious by now).

Over the last year, Maddie has perfected her marshmallow roasting.
She torches, then yanks it out of the fire, eats the torched part, then torches again.
Repeat.

Note the rest of the normal people in jackets.
... and the woman in the huge jacket in the back freezing.

"Daddy, my tummy hurts."
